Favorite Records Of 2018

2018 was an incredible year for music and I’ll post a list of quality songs sooner than later. These are favorites of mine that I kept coming back to. I had a great time with music despite a hiccup at the end of the summer that made me unable to listen, write, or enjoy music. But that changed eventually. Both live performances I experienced along with records from both new discoveries and favorite singer/songwriters of the past really got me through a difficult time. One supergroup in particular stands out of course, especially after seeing them perform at Thalia Hall. I imagine if they had put out more than the six amazing songs they did, I think they would’ve secured the top spot, but I went with my gut instinct for the #1 record of the year. Let’s face it… any of my top ten could be #1. I could go on and on about why these were my specific picks, but you should probably just go ahead and listen to these records for yourself right away. Please! Click on the album title and start listening. Support these amazing musicians - buy their records and see them live. You know the drill.
